Some sacrifices the Lord leads believers to make, or actions He leads us to take, to honour Him do not make sense to our minds initially. Nevertheless, the right response once we are sure of His leading is obedience, remembering that our understanding is human and His is divine.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
