The spiritual atmosphere in today’s civilized world is rapidly becoming like what existed in the days of the early Church. The awareness and acceptance of Christian values by the general populace is declining; materialism, self-worship, and other forms of idolatry are replacing the true worship of God; and wickedness and rebellion are on the rise. Under these conditions, the true church can only advance the kingdom of God through the power and strategies of the Holy Spirit. Let us learn, therefore, to cultivate the presence of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Let us also depend on Him in all our ministry endeavors.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
— Acts 1:8 NKJV
